Lakshman Namal Rajapaksha
Lakshman Namal Rajapaksa is a member of parliament and the Presidential candidate for the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) at the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election. He is a lawyer by profession. He is the eldest son of Sri Lankan former President and former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. He was educated at St. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia and attended Cardiff University to study law. He then went to City University London from where he graduated with a law degree. He was the Minister of Youth and Sports from 2020 to 2022.
